Lao New Years 2008, Saginaw Texas
By Tinah | January 19, 2009
Another group of outdated pictures. It almost makes me excited for this April! Well of course I’m excited! Lol I’ll have a new set of pictures to share. If you notice alot of roof top shots thats because I wanted to show the different paintings and murals of Buddha. They have different scenes painted on each side. I also totally regret not taking pictures of food! The upcoming year i’ll eat lots of food and totally take pictures of everything!~ LOL

the Wat looks very authentic, like the ones in Laos.
Here in Florida, our Wat looks like a house, but still serves the same purpose though. So I guess that’s all that matters.

The temple look almost exactly the same as remember it with a minor change on the exterior.

just 3 more months until Lao New Year!!!! This year, I will go all out and buy loads and loads of Lao Foods to bring home with me. So I better start saving some money cause those booths are expensive!

Girl I’m with you! I plan to tank 1 K into food this year at new years.. last year we were there for 12 hours! And only ate 3 times! this year my dad’s performing on the big stage so I’m gonna catch that too llol and last year we spent like 200 on food and we ate only 3 times? LOL so we’re saving at least 1 K for food this year because we want to eat everything lmao…

So my friend is trying to lure me out for the New Year. My question is it really off the hook? Mardi Gras for Laos people?
March 25th, 2009 at 4:14 am
Lol well it’s awesome i’ll tell you that
the party doesn’t stop until the last person goes home :p and even so they all end up coming back the next morning to continue it.. but really though if you want to come out then the one on the 25th would be the best one.
