Cute Commercials

By Tinah | April 8, 2009

I was watching a few tv shows and there were some noticeably funny, but cute commercials on. Gosh sometimes I tell you it’s the commercial that sell’s the product!

Ong Bak 2

By Tinah | April 7, 2009

ong-bak-2

For those who are into action movies; this one is a must watch. It’s freaking awesome. The screenplay, quality, storyline. Everything was completely superb. It had the perfect blend of action, drama, and artistic martial arts scenes. This movie took awhile to film and they didn’t disappoint us because all that time spent was worth it.

For those who are into movies for their quality, artistic portrayl’s then this one is a must see. I give it 2 thumbs up and a score of 10!

Additionally, I would like to correct a common misconception. There are many people who believe that Ong Bak 2 is in fact Tom Yum Goong (The Protector). Well sorry to burst bubbles lol, but Tom Yum Goong is Tom Yum Goong. Ong Bak 2 was released December 4th 2008. Meaning, it’s a completely new production.

Another thing, Ong Bak 2 is in no way, shape, or form the sequel and/or prequel to the Original Ong Bak nor Tom Yum Goong. It’s a completely new movie with a completely new storyline. Now you’ve heard it pass it on ;p

Also, I added a new page, Wall of Words. On that page I’ll probably be posting up a word everyday that I find interesting. They may not all be SAT words exactly, but they of course manage to captivate me and entice me in some ways ;p

Car Ornaments?

By Tinah | April 1, 2009

car-ornaments

This is probably something that many of us are use to, “Rearview Mirror Ornaments.” I have to say I have to have to have one of these in my car the buddha/dharma ornament. It just makes me feel more at ease. I’m not highly religious, but it’s just something some of us do because it’s passed down from tradtion I guess? I use to have one on my dash, but I have no clue where my mom put it.  I don’t know where I am going with this post, but I guess it’s for the most part curiousity and how many other people have this compulsion to have a dharma/buddha ornament hanging on the rearview mirror. At one point they were illegal well I think anything hanging off your rearview mirror is deemed illegal in some states. I think if they tried to ban it they would be pulling people over left and right everyday and besides some of us have a decent argument, “it’s the freedom of religion.” I guess some people consider it as an obstruction to the driver’s view; in which I will have to say that I only agree if it’s some big decoration, but look at this! How can i possibly block anyone’s view?

Normal Lunch

By Tinah | March 24, 2009

At the request of Ms. Lome aka ladyOfdarkness I decided to post one of my lunche’s well it’s the one right now lol … it doesn’t look good good, but it tastes pretty good lol; don’t judge a book by it’s cover! The sad part is I am trying to eat this all by myself when I probably won’t make it through the rice! The image s crappy as usual I need to stop taking photo’s from my old school 1.0 megapixel phone! LOL It’s just my digi cam is always somewhere far when I need to snap a photo! LOL . I hate how I cook so much food to where I can’t eat it forgetting that I live by myself now and my sisters aren’t here to share it with me anymore! LOL I normally don’t cook big meals unless it’s a slow day and the hubby is working and my sisters are over. Otherwise we just eat small meals such as a salad with some alfredo, fried fish and rice, spagetti, Larp Gai, anything that is suitable for 2 people I guess? lol

My Bloody Valentine Review

By Tinah | February 15, 2009

Wow, I’m fairly impressed by the movie. I went in there today with very low expectation and came out pleased. Besides the fact that Jensen Ackles the hottie from the hit tv series Supernatural was in it. I also wanted to see it because it was 3D. It was very good I must say. Well let’s not say it was phenomenal, but it was decent. I expected the storyline to be very crappy and senseless, but it actually had some minor twists. The thing is that I kind of knew who the culprit was from start so it wasn’t such a big surprise, but then again maybe it’s just me and I’ve seen to many movies like it to actually be surprised by anything. I recommend it for those who likes to watch a good psychological thriller. The acting was pretty crappy when it came to some characters, but when it came to Jensen Ackles and Kerr Smith aka Jack  from Dawson’s Creek who played the role of town sheriff Axel the acting was quite superb; of course also deserving an honorable mention is Jaime King she reprised the roll very well also, but fairly annoying at times. Anyhow I recommend it ;] I give it 7 out of 10 stars. The 3D is pretty cool also.

Tom returns to his hometown on the tenth anniversary of the Valentine’s night massacre that claimed the lives of 22 people. Instead of a homecoming, however, Tom finds himself suspected of committing the murders, and it seems like his old flame is the only one will believes he’s innocent.

Weird Addiction?

By Tinah | February 5, 2009

Ok this may come off as a little strange, but I’ve been addicted to cheese since I was a child. Ever since they introduced one particular cheese to walmart deli omg I’ve been addicted to death LOL

smokey-sharp

Hoffman’s Smokey Sharp cheddar. This thing is awesome dude. In Dallas they run for about 6.57 a lb and every time I visit walmart I purchase at least 2 lbs so that’s about 12 dollars or 13 for cheese LOL. Can’t help it sometimes somethings are so good they are worth those extra few bucks. I’m not one to get stingy when it comes to food. Life is short enjoy it while it last try everything out there that fancie’s your taste buds lol. I know I sure do. This thing is so good by itself and w/ bread it has so much flavour to where sometimes you won’t even need any meat with it lmao cause the smokey taste give’s it a mild ham taste also.

Weird Taste Buds?

By Tinah | January 26, 2009

For some odd reason this has been one of my favorite snacks since I was 5;

Raw Shrimp w/ Cabbage and a little lime squeezed on it only to give some flavour and some Wasabi (lots of it) w/ light soysauce and a little sriracha hot sauce mixed in it -.-” ; Sometimes “Goong Nam Pa” which is Pak Takai (Urgh don’t know what that is in English), Ginger, Fish Sauce Cilantro, and Garlic and the Shrimp in it -.-” Sometime I became accustomed to cause of my daddy.
